Hello! My name is TaJonay Tarrats.  I’m originally from New York and recently moved to the Greater Boston Area to pursue a Masters in Gastronomy (Food Studies) & Fundraising Management at Boston University. I currently work as an Undergraduate Program Specialist in the Department of Chemistry at Boston University. My current role focuses heavily on department scheduling, student advising, and some event planning.

Over the years, I have experience babysitting for families within my neighborhood and am very comfortable with children of all ages (new born to teens). I have experience taking children to their weekend activities, planning birthday parties, playing outside, DIY arts & craft, teaching to cook & bake homemade recipes, meal preparation and so much more. Also, I have experience working with children with many dietary or allergy restrictions. In my care, I strive to create a fun warm welcoming environment for children to express themselves while ensuring their safety.

Unfortunately, I do not have a car but I do rely on Ubers or MBTA to commute around the Boston area. I am available to babysit on the weekends, weeknights, and overnight weekend stays. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, developing new food/dessert recipes, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family/friends! I'm excited to be a part of Savvy Sitter and look forward to meeting you and your family!
