MEET LAUREN
Savvy Sitter founder and president Lauren Kuruc is an experienced professional with over 15 years of in-home and corporate childcare experience.
A Pittsburgh native, Lauren moved to Boston after college to pursue a career in a new city. While defining what she wanted to do next, she served as a nanny for a local family, and babysitting for dozens more. It was in these moments she realized that childcare is her true passion. She then applied her skills to an international Au Pair service, where she helped match families with Au Pairs from all over the world! Lauren went on to work at an international business school working with students from around the world. With the support and help from her family and friends, Lauren decided to run with her idea of Savvy Sitter. She is very excited about her new adventure!
In her free time, Lauren enjoys yoga, running, trying new restaurants around the city, spending time with her little cousins, hanging out with friends, and adding stamps to her passport.
MEET SARAH
Sarah is a co-founder of Savvy Sitter and also the vice-president of the company. She is a new mom to a sweet baby girl.
A Boston transplant from the Adirondacks of New York, Sarah has been nannying and babysitting for the past 15 years. She was a live-in nanny for a family for 4 years before she moved to Boston where she has worked the past 10 years at a Boston hotel doing office management.
Sarah has a passion for people, children, art and creativity. She fills her free time painting, at the gym and spending time with her friends and family.
She combined her passions to help create this exciting new company, Savvy Sitter. Her goal is to make Savvy Sitter the go-to babysitting company in Boston!
