Hi! I'm Amanda. I graduated from University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in Communication and currently work as an Account Coordinator at a public relations agency in Charlestown. I enjoy being active and have been dancing my whole life - the dance studio was basically my second home growing up. I was on a dance team at UMass Amherst, where I was captain my senior year, and continue pursuing that passion here in Boston when I have the opportunity. 

 

I have always loved working with children and have had many volunteer and work opportunities along with babysitting. For 4 years, I volunteered to tutor and mentor elementary school students from a lower income area. I also volunteered with an organization for many years that provided birthday parties for children living in homeless shelters. Both experiences were very rewarding and elevated my love to help others. I worked as a dance assistant for 4 years at the studio a grew up attending with children ages 4 to 15+. It's great to see children's creative side and I enjoy bringing that out through games and activities while babysitting. 

 

I have about 5 years of experience babysitting children ages 2 through 10.I babysat 3 families consistently during that time. One of the things I have realized through all of my experiences working with children is having an impact in their lives to teach and help them be creative and just have fun. I'm patient, responsible and very organized. I look forward to working with savvy sitter and meeting new families!
