Hello! My name is Laura. I currently live in Charlestown but I am from Acton, MA. I work as a Campus Recruiter for an entertainment technology company in Boston. I love working with students and helping them grow in their careers. I recently earned my Master's degree from Northeastern University and have a passion for continuous learning. 

 

When I was younger, my dream job was to be a teacher but my plans shifted as I got to college and explored other opportunities. That said, I worked very hard to gain a lot of experience working with children in high school and beyond. I was a mother's helper from the age of 13 and started babysitting regularly shortly after that. I took a child development course in high school that helped me earn my Early Childhood Education Certificate at the Preschool level. Additionally, I worked for about four years as an Assistant Teacher/Floater at Little Sprouts Preschool in Concord, MA. In this role, I gained valuable experience caring for children as young as 6 months to four years old. Working with kids is a genuine passion of mine,

I love helping them learn and grow. 

 

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family in Cape Cod (my parents' retirement destination), exploring small New England towns and walking trails with my fiance, and attending any fun fitness class I can find. I am thrilled to be joining the Savvy Sitter team and look forward to helping your children thrive in a fun, safe, and trustworthy environment!
