Hello! My name is Gillian.  I am originally from New York City and have extensive experience working with children as a teacher, swim instructor and childcare provider.  I have over ten years experience caring for children as both a full time nanny and occasional babysitter.  I have worked with ages ranging from newborn to pre-teen. Additionally, I spent my high school and undergrad years as a swim instructor and lifeguard.  In this role, I taught both group and private lessons to children from beginning to advanced levels of swimming ability.

I recently completed a Masters of Teaching degree from Northeastern University and hold teaching licenses in Elementary Education and Special Education. I currently nanny part-time for a four-year-old boy while I work towards my third teaching license in Early Childhood Education. I am an energetic, organized and friendly sitter who strives to have fun while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for children. I enjoy reading, arts and crafts, and getting outside as much as possible. I am very excited to be apart of Savvy Sitter!
